Eden United is a club beyond the 4 walls of a room. It’s a team, a brotherhood and a sisterhood, it is a presence. Eden United was founded on a passion for football that bred a desire to succeed. They kicked off just a year and a half ago — started by a group of church mates located in Mount Eden who just wanted to play football for fun. They began in a local social 5-a-side league, and as more people jumped on board, they moved into 7-a-side and eventually this upcoming season 8-a-side to fit the numbers. Eden United grew into the giant it is today by always pushing for the next challenge, the next competitor, next chapter. Leaving winning in their wake and facing up to rivals that should have bested us. Now they’re here for the next opportunity not only to grow but to experience what it means to be a football club and stamp their name in the hallway of New Zealand football.
